Match-ups (to hit more overall homeruns):
Rickie Weeks over Robinson Cano (+110)
Rickie Weeks straight kills the ball in bp. His role in the Brewer line-up is more of a base hit/set-up role, but he has all kinds of pop when he lets it rip. Cano on the other hand has HR numbers that are a bit bloated from being a lefty in Yankee stadium. Weeks is at 15 while Cano is at 14 home runs, so I'll take the plus money with Rickie all day.
Prince Fielder over Adrian Gonzalez (-145)
Prince Fielder won the home run derby in 2009.. in the same derby Adrian Gonzalez hit only 2 HR and was eliminated in the first round.
HR DERBY WINNER:
Jose Bautista (+200)
Say what you will, but this man has been murdering baseballs for the last season and a half. He's swinging a hot bat right now, hitting for average and ridiculous power. He's not the type of player that will run out of gas either. I think he'll at least make it to the finals and at +200, that's good enough for me!
