After a slow start the Angels won 19 of their last 25 games before the all-star break. They have two number one starters, Haren and Weaver, pitching at the top of their game. Vernon Wells and Torrii Hunter are actually starting to show a pulse. Mark Trumbo is an emerging force, at 1st base, with 17 home runs before the break. Scott downs is a terrific set up guy with an era of 1.52. Jordan Walden is becoming a feared closer with 21 saves and 41 strikeouts in 38 innings. They recently brought up Mike Trout who is often mentioned in the same sentence with Bryce Harper. Mike Scioscia is a better than average, experienced manager who has won a World Series. I think there is decent value here with a team that finished with momentum before the break.
FYI: I bet both of these futures last night at 5Dimes at +3500 & +1600. Believe me the amount I bet had nothing to do with the movement but perhaps an indicator.
