We all know that Pirates were the biggest money earner in the first half, if you bet one unit on each of their games, (+1415) and Houston was the largest loser, (-1910). So who do you expect to return the greatest profit, or loss, from here on out?

I look for the White Sox to have a strong finish , it should be a great race between CWS and DET for the AL Central.

Once the Sept. call-ups happen i look for the marlins to vastly improve during the final month.

As far as teams that may back slide , i look for collapses from the mets and indians.

rode the pirates, may be time to get off that train. cubs continue to be overpriced. i like the mets, if the fire sale happens there price will go way down, undervalued for sure. dodgers are done, appear to have quit, still priced like a competitive team.

Dodgers and White Sox have way underperformed: Dodgers will definitely turn it around, White Sox may not, but I think Dodgers will get back in the NL West race....

I hope Seattle gets a bat before the trade deadline, I love their pitching.... And even with their best record in baseball, Phillies could get better.

I think SF is overrated and I think Rays aren't as good as they seem to be.

Respectfully disagree about the Dodgers. Seems like they've given up and their offense is just awful.

Offense isn't that bad, its more clutch hitting, which i believe is an easier fix that a poor offense. I understand your point and at times it does feel like that but they have more talent than any of the West teams IMO. I think a little win streak could do wonders for this team....

Nah, lets go bucs man! 18 years of misery.

Hurdle will keep this team focused and overachieving.

I dont think they will win the division but they will stay in the race. At least for another 4-6 weeks or so

On paper, it seems like they have more talent than the West but the Giants staff is money and if they're buyers for a bat by the deadline, they'll cruise.

Atlanta is one of two teams (Philly the other) who have not been swept in a three game series this year. Atlanta pitching and defense is masterful most nights but offensive only avergaes around 4 per game. Atlanta bullpen will protect the lead more often than not and you just have to take your chances they get ahead first and find a win to keep on grinding out sweeps here and there and 2 out of 3's in series most weeks. The battle with Philadelphia in the NL East for the lead in the second half of the season should be a dandy of a race. Once Atlanta can get everyone healthy and on the same sheet of music, it will be back to business as usual.

i see the twins getting it going in the second half, its a sad central over in the al also.

believe the pirates will hang in there for quite awile, have good pitching and if the hitting continues as it has they will be there.

cincy is going to be a burner and i have a future on them over 83.5 wins which i should just throw in the garbage.they have no pitching whatsoever and hitting can only take you so far.

giants should be making a trade of some kind and i believe they open up the lead there and cruise.

dodgers,just plain toast
