The Toronto Blue Jays will be without All-Star slugger Jose Bautista against the New York Yankees on Friday night, according to a TSN report.
Bautista twisted his ankle in the Blue Jays' 16-7 win Thursday, and said on Twitter on Friday that he was getting treatment.
"Feeling much better today!" Bautista posted. "Getting treatment as I tweet!"
Edwin Encarnacion will take Bautista's spot in the lineup, TSN reported.
Bautista leads the majors with 31 home runs and is hitting .336 with 65 RBIs.
