Costco sells coca-cola that is made with pure cane sugar - it is bottled in Mexico. You can really taste the difference in a glass bottle vs plastic imo.

You still can in a lot of places outside the US. Pure nostalgia. I remember returning bottles to the grocery store as a kid and getting the deposit. Where I'm at the beer bottles are deposit bought. It reminds me of those younger days.

I remember the 6 ounce glass cokes you bought from the up right vending machine. The were a dime and as you pulled one out you could here the ka ching on the bottles as the next one fell into place. Recently on one of those Pawn Stars shows, a guy was attemting to restore a vintage Coke Up Right Vending Machine. He was going to have to have a new condenser, a new paint job and some sheet metal work, but once completed it was going to be worth a substantial amount of money to collectors.

We call it POP here in Ohio and when I go down South I have to remember to call it soda as I was lambasted for saying pop first time I went down south
