LA won at San Antonio last week 84-74 after SA led 23-15 after one quarter. SA point guard Becky Hammon played poorly going 2-14 from the field. LA's point guard Tisha Pinichiero led the Sparks with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Tisha usually struggles to score but not last week as she was the team's high scorer and rebounder.
LA just lost to Washington on Sunday at home after leading 47-25 at the half. They were outscored 52-30 in 3rd/4th quarters and then lost in overtime.
Now, San Antonio heads to LA where they won last August by 92-83. SA is 4-1 ATS on the road while LA is still without Candace Parker. San Antonio is led by Sophia Young, Jia Perkins, Ruth Riley and Danielle Adams. Oh, and look for Becky Hammon to bounce back on Monday night and give the road team a good chance to win.
