Has gotten out of control. Athletes and musicians have taken it and RAN. Now everyone who is obsessed with urban culture is abusing it...:ohno:

I didn't notice how bad it was until this past weekend. Went out to a mall and that was heard from everybody and anybody who appeared to be under 30 years old.

Good point, been saying this for months.
There are a few others, like "moving forward"..............

For the past few years all advertising agencies have been subbing the word 'event' for 'sale'.
Ikea for years was the only one one who referred to the word sale as an event, but it had impact, so everybody in the ad game had to use the word 'event'
The ad people are not capable of original thought.

For a minute there I thought everybody was going to start using the phrase "well played".
Thank God for they stopped that.

Is it worse than "when all is said and done"?

At least at the end of the day, you can still say something. When all is said and done, then, by definition, you shouldn't still be saying anything.

When it's all said and done then there is nothing to do or say except say 'good night' Gracie.

At the end of the day, when all is said and done, you can lead a horse to water, but it is what it is, such is life, I'm telling you, actions speak louder than words so all bets are off, c'est la vis and we're back to square one.

Let's see if we can add to this run-on in a way that makes (awful) sense.

This is an actual excerpt, word for word, from one of my bonehead colleagues, which I kept because it always gives me a good laugh…

….keep in mind we can’t simply provide a turnkey solution here and we really need to think outside the box on this one. Our end goal is to achieve economies of scale while providing synergies amongst “client name’s” various business units. We can’t be in the weeds here and need to take a holistic approach by devising a business plan that suits “client name’s” needs.

A positive outcome here would open the door for future projects and demonstrate our value. We need to stay in front of the client on this project and operate in an efficient and timely manner. All things considered, we have an excellent opportunity to show a positive ROI with little investment on our part.

Let’s stay on top of this to ensure we don’t lose sight at the task at hand. My outlook is up to date for anyone who wants to set up a face to face to dive deeper into the next steps…..

The project – we basically had to beat down a vendor on costs for one of our clients and this email was sent to mainly employees who are considered at a more senior level than this dope. I don’t even know what the fuck he is talking about.
