Phillies dropped three of four meetings at Wrigley Field last year

Philadelphia heads into the Windy City with a 3.5-game lead on the Atlanta Braves in the National League East division and will play its first contest of the year at historic Wrigley Field Monday night. The Phillies have always been a great team following the All-Star break under the direction of manager Charlie Manuel, posting a 270-172 record since 2005. Playing on the road hasn't been too bad during the 2011 campaign, entering this series with a 25-20 mark, but only 13 wins in the last 28 contests away from Citizens Bank Park. Philadelphia is a dominating 42-26 versus right-handed starters and 30-16 when facing clubs with a losing record.

Phillies starting pitcher Roy Halladay is 11-3 with a 2.45 ERA in 19 starts this season and has led the club to 10 consecutive victories with him on the mound. The right-hander started for the NL Tuesday night in the All-Star game and is coming off a 3-2 no-decision effort against the Braves at home, giving up two runs and six hits over seven frames. Halladay will be making his ninth road start of the year, coming in with a 5-2 mark and 2.44 ERA, as opponents are hitting .228 against him. In four career outings versus the Cubs, he has garnered a surprising 1-3 record and 3.24 ERA, issuing just a single walk in 25 frames.
