Things have certainly changed rapidly over the years. And divorce rates are through the roof. Lets face it. You are at the club, the bar, Subway, the park, and you see this really hot chick, she has ass, tits, curves, basically, shes a jaw dropper.

Most men would wanna hit it, and some would hesitate to approach her because you think, no way this chick is single, but some still would approach her.
And you approach her, shes, great, smart, sense of humour, the whole nine yards. you date a few times and finally you say, i gonna marry her, and like all suckers you do.

This chick would cost you soo much money its unreal. from all the dates and gifts, etc. you may have been living in a bachelor pad, and you now are married go and take out a mortgage for 450,000 large. then you buy the family car, or get her one, and furnish the place with all the fancy furniture, or renovate, and it goes on and on. but 3-5 years later you separate, you then get divorced.

Was it worth it??

I dont think so. do matter how much fukking you did every week, still not worth it, most married people fukking meters go wayyy down after a very short time.

You get a calculator and realize that this chick cost you a gazillion dollars,

Whats the answer to this debacle guys, and dont forget, in this 21st century, the women have learned to play the game the men invented. And the men are on the losing end.

Are allll women really bitcheeees????

We are raised to marry, have kids, work 40+ hours a week, save 10-20% of our income in a 401K that is not even guarnteed to be there when we retire. Then if it is, if we are lucky retire at 62-70 years old, and again, if lucky maybe have 5-10 years to live.

We all live in a warp sense of self, that we are taught by parents and society.

You grow up not knowing any different, becuase this is what we are "suppose" to do.

Me, personally, NEVER marry again, it's a legal obligation is all it is. Stupid if you think about it, one can single handely bankrupt someone if they feel to do so, sickening.

If you find someone that is so dead set on marrying, and can't live just as happy as partners with no "piece of paper" move on, period

Is marriage worth it?

It depends who you marry.

Marrying my wife was by far the best decision I ever made.

I agree with your views on marriage except I think it is unfair to dump someone dead set on marriage. If they have never been married before they may not understand your views

I didn't say dump them, but if they are dead set on it, and you don't want it, something will have to be done.

Bottom line, marriage is a piece of paper period. Tie that with all these brain washing religious cults out there, makes marriage less appealing

This is the case with most marriages, the vast majority {99%} of which end in failure. Because people are flawed and change.

Marriage is definitely a learned institution - that's y nearly every girl wants to be married and by 28 r in a deep panic if they're single - society taught them they're failures if they're not married

One thing I know is that I couldn't get married without a bullet proof prenup that protected what I had coming into the marriage

Marriage made lots more sense back in your grandparents time, but today, whats it worth. Second, what happens if gold or diamond is found at parks and back yards all over america, Guess what happens, the value goes wayyyyyyyy down, now bear with me on this, back in the day, some of the things that happened were as follows, a man didnt really see another womans (skin/treasures) that easily. So when he had his wife, he held on to that, becasue thats his treasure, today, you can "see" and "get" all types of women easily.

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day, having a real hot chick was like wow, but you can get her easily now. May not be the same exact girl you saw at the mall, but you can do one of the following.

Go to a brotel/strip club/massage parlor/internet and you have the same or even more beautiful girl for the night. And shes not gonna give you the run around like the other chicks, she would be up on you and give you what you wanted. You didnt have to call her , text her, go on two or three dates, buy her nothing,

That girl cost you maybe 60/80/100/150/200 $$$ and thats it until the next time. Hell you propbably pay that amount on a nice dinner for some hottie on the first date and still dont get the couchie.

I smiled at him and said, damn you are right

One month from today it'll be 27 years. We're still having fun together. I never have looked at marriage in terms of monetary gain or loss. I guess I traded in the possiblity of scoring with a lot of hot chicks for the security of having a lifelong companion who loves me. Definitley not for everyone, but works for us.

Yeah, i find 60 USD for a stunner in LOS is easily attainable. In fact half that price is not difficult.

If all you are looking for in a female, is sex - well then paying for a whore might make sense for you. But, I'll clue you in, there is a lot more to marriage than a honey-hole to stick your dick in every few days.
