What are some of the best runs you have been on or someone you know has been on?

Had a friend of mine who went 44-6 at the Hilton 2 years ago during the NCAA tourney and won 400K. Another buddy, won 1.7M over a year and half, but he used to fire on games.

My best run was turning $100 on a saturday night (last 3 games on CBB board) to 12K after Monday night. That will never happen again, because back then I was dumb enough to do parlays. Another great run was turning $4K one a college football saturday into $27K

I turned like $1100 in to over 30K in blackjack in a 2 hour session a few years back. Ending up walking with 21K I think

This was back when certain casinos had +EV blackjack for counters... They actually told you
when they were shuffling.

went on a 19-1 run on -110 lines in the wnba forum last year would probably be my hottest streak. hit 14 straight earlier this yr in the wnba forum, but im ice cold right now

acouple seasons ago hit 14 straight Oilers plays, documented right here. Otherwise I turned $20 into $10,000 wagering on snooker, but now I can't find a winner.

Unified Gaming software - I remember them well. Island Casino was the first to use it. I actually helped them do a beta test of that software. The owner sent an email to a few select clients and we got a $250 bankroll to play and keep any profits. They were running single deck and he was even acknowledging that counting cards was an option. I think that was 1997 or '98. Shuffles soon disappeared of course.

My best run was a $200 deposit and I ran it up to 9k with online BJack. I did that twice. I think I withdrew 2k and 3k as the software was just brutalizing me relentlessly taking back most of what I won.

Stopped about 3 weeks ago after one of the hottest streaks of my life. I knew it wouldn't last so I padded my accounts and packed it in till football. I will be playing with house money all season and that is a good feeling.

A few years back took 109.00 and turned it into about 25,000 in 7 days with online poker. Won a 109 sattelite into the 1000 Main Event package. Won that and got 12K Took out the 10 for the buy in and used the 2K to play nothing but the 45 player 75.00 sit n go's. Won 5 of those and hit the money about 15 times.. It was the most ridiculous run ever..Built about 10K doing that and the rest in the 1-2 cash games..

Thats when the arrogance and stupidity kicked in. Took some out but ended up giving most back.. Never really achieved any success like that again...Guess it was just a great run of luck. But at least i got the Main Event out of it.

Didn't lose a game in the NFL playoffs last year. Took 250 to 3250 (or roughly there about). Amazing.

a long time time ago, a friend who is now deceased, won his first
22 football bets he ever placed. all bets were for $20. obviously
at that time he thought winning at football was the easiest thing
he had ever done. he was good enough and disciplined enough to never go
on a massive losing streak, but never again went on a winning
streak even close to that. he was probably a small loser lifetime
in football.

When I was 18 and had no clue about gambling I turned like 300 into 2500 in blackjack on WSEX and I wasn't even playing optimally. That quickly turned into a loss of 3k, thats about as degen as I've ever gotten.

was absolutely sensational thoughout the 1st two rounds. Won over 14k, cashed in 10k after that weekend and little more when the tourny ended

I witnessed this firsthand.. and it was one of the most amazing runs i have ever seen personally.

I will try to remember particular parts of the story.. but it all happened in like a 3 month period and It was fascinating (although the ending was quite harshly dramatic :S )

I recommended my friend, studmlb55, to this book Betphoenix which I was gettin 100% bonuses with and at the time seemed like a great book to gamble at. He deposited $300 and got a 100% cash bonus. Which gave him a $600 bankroll.
Stud was very strict on his bet amounts at the beginning, never betting much more than 3% of his bankroll. His first bets were between 5-20 dollars lol, but he did quite a few 2-3 team parlays and was on a tear!!! After only a few weeks his account was prob. Between 2-3 k. From here he continued to bet during the week but everytime he made a parlay or anything he would add Alabama-Florida SECCG at the end of the parlay, choosing Alabama. After it was all said and done he had like 5 or 6 3 to 6 team parlays with Alabama in them. I told him to hedge his bet but he was persistent that he “let it ride”. Of course we know Alabama won and following this game his account was well over 10k in less than a month! The following week he also nailed another 6 team $300 parlay on a miracle buzzer beater 3 by USC…

This of course made his account literally skyrocket over night.. was a helluva call and very nice hit to begin with. I figured he would start withdrawing chunks now as he had finally nailed a book solid as shit and now its time to get paid.. He told me that night his dream was bigger than that.. he wanted to see his account hit 50K. I was like dude ur nuts.. pull some of that money out of their.. at least spread it around to some other books.. have a few outs.. etc. He didnt listen.

About a week later his account went over 50K to about the 65K mark. I was like ok u reached ur goal TIME TO GET PAID... he said ok finally I will withdraw some after I make a few bets.. I was like wtf.This wont end well.. he ended up risking bout 15K (Bet 10,000 on Alabama when they played Texas in the NCG) that night on 7-10 games and in the morning he had requested withdrawals and transfers to books of about 20-35K in total. His account was still over 50, near 65K again even after the transfers and withdrawals.. I was amazed. He ended up depositing 10K at 3 other books (whether through transfer or withdrawal then deposit to Bookmaker, Betjamaica, and Thegreek. At least he was at more solid books now and he didnt have all his risk in one place, but his big chunk was still at Betphoenix.. I was even getting uneasy at this point just as an outsider because I had recommended this joint to him.. so I wanted to make sure they paid him every last cent of it. He told me that they couldnt pay more than 4K a week to him..so each week went by he collected 4K and ran his balance up back to accomodate.. the guy never was dropping there.. meanwhile he started to risk big on these other accounts.. went bust at betjamaica after running it up big (30-40k), but in the meantime ran his 10K deposit at thegreek up to over 100k... bookmaker also became where his big action was.. he had 60-100K at boomaker at some points during this run...

The highest it ever got was he showed me like 30-40K at betjm/ 100K+ at thegreek/ 50K at betphx/ and 90K at bookmaker... all on the same day.. I told him I think its time to collect.. He told me he was dreaming of 1 Million. I said dude.. ur on the most amazing streak of ur life, or anyone else’s for that matter.. COLLECT damnit!... he told me that he didnt get to almost 250K by pussyfooting around and he PRESSED all this time.. it was time to PRESS bigger. Meanwhile all this time he had been collecting checks from betphx (and now some from bookmaker.. ) like I said he had went bust shortly after this 250K milestone at betjm. Had 80k+ at greek sitting. and bookmaker was the out he was slamming 2-5K bets in every day for 2-10 games per day. Kinda started to level off.. but his cash flow to him was over 60-70K at this point and he bought a 50K car with cash!. lol he was living the high life.. partying at casino's for weekends in their high roller room cuz he just bet 1K a hand in bj for 5 hrs straight. (took like 10K to a casino one night(this was early in his run btw)... called me down 5K like dude. i think im gonna quit and go up to the room they gave me.. i will play more tomorrow. i just lost 5k too fast playing few hundred a hand.... i was like ok.. i told him not worry he is smashing the books and had like 120K online at this point.. he can cash that out whenever he wants... he calls me back like 36 mins later saying IM UP 16K now.. LOL.. he went back to tables and played 1K a hand and went on a nice 20 min run.. ... I told him to leave the tables and goto bed .LOL... he called the next morning said he had ran it up to 65K but lost it all including the 10K he brought.. heh.. well it happens to the best of us.. that just made him more determined in sports that weekend and like i said within the next few weeks n months he had 250K at his high point.

So back to this high point.. he had bought a car with cash for 50K.. spent probably 20-30K on bitches, booze, gambling, good times in casino's etc. living the high life like a rockstar, and was thinking about quitting his day job and moving to Vegas doing this full time!

Well it all had to end soon right? sad but true.

The downward spiral happened so fast, it was like a blink of an eye.. I only remember one part of it.. but I remember that day or two like the back of my hand. He called me up and said he was risking his biggest bet that I remember yet. 20K on one game. The Utah Jazz @ -2... I was sweating now of course and especially started to swear once I seen Utah down 32pts around early 3rd quarter!. AMAZINGLY Utah came storming back and PUSHED the -2 line.. We both were in amazement of this.. I told him that was a sign from god he needs to STOP.. that was a fucking HUGE SIGN. I thought he would take me seriously... but nope.. next morning he calls me.. tells me not to say a word.. but he got thegreek to authorize 40K each on 2 college basketball games and he was ALL IN at thegreek on those two games.. He wants to make back what he had lost the last week or so and make it back now!. Well lets just say even though he bought a car with cash, paid off all his student loans, and partied for months on the books expense, this couldnt end well.. Both teams got buried fairly easily and 88K was gone like a disappearing act.

After that was over he had around 40K left at betphx and 50 or 60K left at bookmaker.. that money went even faster (but not in large unreal size bets) because neither would allow it like thegreek had authorized over the phone the two bets for 40K each on college basketball. I dont care what anyone says about betting THEGREEK is hands down the most heavyweight book in the industry as far as bet size and longevity and safety in this biz goes.

In the end, I will say that Betphoenix paid every dime to him he was owed. He lost half or more of what he had ran up total there sure.. but they paid him every dime he had waited and requested.. so in that time frame they were a standup book.. I cannot speak for them currently though.. but back then, they were serious about staying a top notch up n comer book.

This really should be a movie... but honestly my brain doesnt remember all the details.. maybe one day the book will come out and my thoughts and remembrances will get me a piece of the 100million in sales

4 years ago I think it was, I hit EVERY bet I made on Friday and Saturday on the first weekend of March Madness. I played every game, plus halftimes. It was unreal. Kermit and WoofDaddy witnessed it.
