I like the under 9 a lot, and I would actually lean KC in this spot, but probably would only play the under. It's two offenses that are not scoring runs, two effective lefties who usually limit damage. I could be wrong, but I feel it's the strongest play.

There isn't too much info going on with these two pitchers but here's the list. Danks hasn't pitched against KC since 10' and then only once if I remember. I believe he lost that game. Chen on the other hand, just two weeks to the day beat the SOX in Chicago. My concern sits with the records this year vs. LHP. Sox are 13-12 and KC is 8-18. GL

danks sucks on the road 1-6, 5.65 era

that ERA is highly inflated by a 4 inning 9ER performance at Tor in May.. KC doesn't possess a Jose Bautista type of hitter and are about 1/5th the team Tor is offensively.

agreed about the era, but he is still shaky on the road besides that game you're referring to. 1/5th of TOR offensively? i doubt that, as a matter of fact KC has a higher batting avg than TOR.

so why would you say the under? i agree about lefty vs lefty but Danks coming off injury but hasnt lost to KC and alot of runners were left on last night so they have some sticks here. I also see that CWS have been under machine for the second half of season going 1-8 to the under and KC 3-7 so under does look solid.

The total on this game is a tough one...Both pens have been good lately, neutral ump O/U: 9-9, wind blowing out. Lots of conflicting angles.

1/5th is hyperbole, but as a royals fan, I can tell you batting avg and runs scored are two totally different things, these guys do not bring runners home. Also no instant offense.. it's usually singles

Complete pillow fight all game... Royals still cannot get clutch 2 out hits, win on a wild pitch. Pretty standard.
