Is there some value in wagering on MLB making 5 to 10 team parlays? In all the books I've read, it seems the general opinion is that its not a smart thing to do. All the bookmakers I've ever known over the years, welcomed such wagers with delight. Perhaps some genius out there as of late, has discovered something I'm not aware of. I'm always open to new horizons when it comes to value. So, if anyone has read or heard of anything recently, that seems to encourage 5-10 team parlays in MLB, please share it with me. I bring this up, as I read in a offshore sportsbook rules section, they would only accept 3 team parlays in MLB, and you may only use one underdog. In the meantime, I will stick to making straight wagers. Good luck to all!

I do them, 1 a day 5-8 team parlay. I have hit 5/8 today with Toronto ML/Atlanta ML/Texas +1.5......but i wouldnt count on this is a way of making money, just do it for fun with a chance of hitting a big chunk.

parlays...

I've done them quite a few times this year...only playing a very small amount on round robins. If I have 5 picks on a given day, may round robin those as 3 teamers. Only for a little action, and a chance to get bigger payouts. Gotta feed the committee in my head somehow. Very little amounts wagered tho. Also have round robins with fav run lines at times as well. Bigger payout. Just to add a little adventure to the day.

For what its worth. No one has ever won a Las Vegas MLB Contest, using 5-10 team parlays. This is based on contests that allow parlays, 5-10 teamers.

Never had much luck with parlays in general, though "If Win" bets seem to be a nice alternative if you like 8 games in a night, start with the game you like most and work your way down, the payout won't be as great but guaranteed in the long run you'll win more money doing this than 8 team parlays.
