only sore point for TEX is that beltre is out, but they have so much firepower they will be fine offensively.

ogando at night this year: 9-1 with a 2.42 era
ogando at home this year: 7-1 with a 2.54 era

cecil era against texas in his career: 19.29 and he managed one win against texas in a 18-10 shootout. cecil is a slightly better pitcher on the road with a 4.60 on the road and a 4.93 era at home. oh and did i mention that for his career he is 18-12 with a 5.26 era at night?

texas all the way for me.

thoughts?

its almost too good to take. Do u think that Ogando will keep the JAYS bats under 4 runs?? I'm almost tempted to take the JAYS team total over 3.5. Thoughts??

don't get me wrong,...I want to drop the hammer on texas, but its hard to sweep a team and those Jays bats have potential of posting up some sick #'s. Maybe Rangers Team Total over 5 will be my only play in this game.

re-born actually looked into texas, at night texas has played 70 games and scored 391 runs. that is 5.585/game at night. add in the fact that cecil is on the mound . . . i am going over 5.5 for me.

Josh Hamilton plays 100 times better in night games as well compared to day games.

Alexi Ogando at home has a 2.54 era giving up 21 runs 18 earned........but most of that is against the yankees at home....3 IP 6 ER....take that yankee game away and his numbers are alot better....and its not that his numbers are bad the way it is.

60.2 Innings pitched over 9 games and 12 earned runs, if your thinking about the over, you might just want to take Tex TT over because Ogando is pretty stingy at home when not playing the yankees.
