The Economy is HORRID!

I have been applying to some part time jobs. I have not received 1 call back from over at least 20 submissions.

What use to be 2-3 pages of jobs in the Sunday paper has shrank to half page.

I think things get a lot worse, we are just at the tip of what is to come

It's about who you know. Ask a few friends if they can get you on anywhere. Applications go into a huge pile to be ignored later.

Try sending unsolicited resumes to HR departments. Everyone is looking at the same classifieds and job boards at once. If you do some research and find the HR of companies that are not advertising for jobs it might reap some benefits. I had a friend do this straight out of college and he was hired by a financial firm out of Ft Lauderdale.

And you are just now finding this out? In this world today it is about one thing...and that's who you know! Of course you could go flip burgers at McDonald's , they prob make 200-300 hundo a week.

Work at a convenient store if you're looking part time. Not like a small shady one, one of the huge ones. Could probably make $8-9$ an hour.
