Tonight Pittsburgh will try to keep a mini winning streak going while Atlanta will try and snap a mini losing streak. In the process, fans will be treated to a pitchers duel in the form of Karsten versus Hanson. Karsten is 7-4 2.27 ERA and has the second lowest ERA in NL among qualifing pitchers. He has only issued only 19 walks in 100 innings pitched which ties him with Roy Halladay for second fewest walks allowed in that category. Hanson is second in MLB with strikouts with 9.7 K's per game. For our purposes we will just round it up to 10 per game. Hanson also has a night game record of 8-2 with opponents batting .189 in that time frame. The under has won 6 out 7 when Pittsburgh plays Atlanta and 10 out 14 overall in Pittsburgh road games and 5 out of 7 when playing in Atlanta.
