At or about 4:30 EST, when Lincecum told Bruce Bochy he simply could not pitch, I was hoping Zito would start for the Giants. He did, and -157 was simply stealing. Thats why a serious player, needs to make sure starting pitchers are indeed "going" as well as the rest of the key players in the lineups. Of course I always stipiulate pitchers when wagering with sportsbooks. Those who simply wager and just play and stipulate "action" are just playing with fire. For the sake of a contest, I guess it really does not matter, but I know many people "follow me", so I just want you to know, while I try to post my selections as early as possible, be assured I know when I play, even in the contest here in The Forum, I know who is playing and starting each game. The line is based as you know on pitching, so when I post, I'm trying to protect you, in the event you are following me. Personally, 99% of my wagers are made 10-15 minutes before the start of each game. So if I post earlier, to give you time to move, if I were you, I'd double check pitchers at least. Tonight I happen to find out early, even before the line changed in the Giant/Phillies game, that Lincecum was a no go. Zito, who for his age, if pitching at home, is capable.
