Ok, i didnt bet on the braves, but the braves are my team. They are currently in the 13th inning tied 3-3. I have watched the complete game so far, and im about to puke. Here is why.
2nd inning - man on 2nd , no outs. Braves refuse to bunt him over to third. Braves end up not scoring.
6th inning - men on 2nd & 3rd, no outs. Braves can't get the ball in the outfield or to the right side. Braves end up not scoring.
12th inning - men on 1st & 2nd, no outs. Braves refuse to bunt runners over. Braves end up not scoring.
Ok, im not a very smart guy, but why in the fuk does Freidi Gonzalez not bunt the runners over in these spots. I know some will say "well, you let your guys hit" or "you're paying Uggla 10million, so you let him hit".......bullshit!....i dont care how much money you make....u have to get those runners over in scoring position. I mean, isnt this just common sense.
It baffles me to watch these games every night and these bonehead managers just seem to be scared to make their sluggers bunt. And they typically fly out in the infield, or pop out.
Maybe i have it all wrong, but something that is bothering me tonite, especially with the braves
