Lost the last big play back on July 21st, but hoping to bounce back today.

Today's big play:

*Toronto Blue Jays -165

Kind of high juice, but I believe it's a very solid play. If you want to lessen the juice, you can make a -1 RL and get it at about -125 or so

After much consideration, I've decided to add the Reds as a big play:

*Toronto Blue Jays -165
*Cincinnati Reds -140

That's definitely all for today

Really like Reds today. Will likely play them ml and rl. Was looking at Jays as well. Best of luck to you on a 2-0 day.

I'm busy at work right now so no time for write-ups for the moment. However, I'll try to get back with at least a brief analysis sometime before 4:30 pm CST

Running short on time so sorry it's a mess - kind of my short-hand.

Toronto Blue Jays

Simon: 2-8 team record last 10 games (in relief and starting). Low ERA and decent results in 3 start but look at who he faced. LAA and Cle - decent but not exactly stellar offense. Faced Bos and gave up 3 ERs in 4 innings of work. In 7 relief appearances gave up at least a run or more. Teams he faced that I consider good offenses: Tex - gave up 5 ERs in 4 innings, Bos 3 ERs in 4 innings, StL 1 ER in 2.2 innings. Experience vs. Tor is minimal - sample size too small to make a determination - each batter only faced 2-3 times. By judging Simon's overall performance this season, Tor should be able to get to him.
Romero vs. Os: out of 200 ABs a .265 BA with only 5 HRs. 44 SO - not a bad SO ratio to ABs. Faced Bal twice this year and last game went 8 innings giving up 1 ER, game before 7.2 innings giving up 5 ERs. 4-1 vs. Os with 2.44 ERA in last 6 games, 3-0 with 2.12 ERA vs. Os at home in 4 games (4-0 team record). Lately, high ERA but faced Bos and NYY two of last three. Season-wise, only given up more than 3 runs in 5 out of 20 starts. Ace on the mound who has pitched well and is due for a win.

Cincinnati Reds

Pelfrey: 0-2 with 5.29 ERA last three starts. 2-8 5.79 ERA in 13 road starts. Against Cin, .294 BA in 68 ABs with only 6 SOs. Last faced them July 2010 and gave up 6 ERs in 5 innings.
Arroyo: Overall, ERA would be better but for 4 terrible outings. 8 of last 10 games he has pitched more than 6 innings per start, and 8 of 10 last home games pitched more than 6 innings per start = less bullpen effort. Vs. Mets, .279 BA in 165 ABs, only given up 4 HR and only 16 RBIs. He is 7-2 vs. NYM with 3.31 ERA in 11 starts. 5-1 in last 6 starts with 2.54 ERA and only given up 3 HRs.
Looking for Arroyo's dominance of the Mets to continue and Pelfrey to continue to give up runs.
