They are only 50-50 or so on making it to 8 wins......................7-5 or 8-4 in all liklihood.

6-6 or worse would be a dreadful year...................9-3 or better would be overachieving.

Count me in for better hope than that. Other than beating Nebraska......but if they do.....so be it.

At 3-1 the Hawkeyes will have a battle this week on the road vs. PSU...


Ferentz labels the Penn State defense the best Iowa has seen this season and the statistics back that up.
The Nittany Lions, who have given up just three touchdown passes during their 4-1 start, rank second in the Big Ten to Michigan State in pass defense and total defense and are fourth in the conference in defending the run.
