With so many in the armed forces who was or are in the forces have some sort of mental disorder or flashbacks that stay with them forever.

After being in war and see close friends an fellow soldiers blown up, and killed next to them and in battle it affects them terribly, and those too who killed another in battle, it cannot be cool to kill another human, but we have even 18, 19 year olds who kill or are killed in battle, it must be terrible.,

I once dated a girl who had a bad relationship and if there was an argument where my voice raised just a little she had a fit and can only remember her past and think its coming back, I said that to enforce how terrible the soldiers have to live memories of death and war and then are in our society again or soon will be.

If a school saw a shooting at school, its always a fact they make sure they see a consular, do the soldiers see something like that after war?

I know in Fort Hood they have seminars and workshops that returning soldiers are strong encouraged to attend (maybe even required). Just how seriously the officers and senior NCOs play them up to their soldiers I don't know.

When soldiers come home they go through a demobilization process. In my case we went to Fort Dix for 4-5 days before we came back to Maine. During the process soldiers are given lectures videos, and materials to help them understand what going back to the civilian life will be like. In reality, guys just want to get home and will avoid anything they think might delay the process. In the first few months home soldiers will get divorced, arrested, and you may even lose one or two. The military can try and treat soldiers but most just don't want the help.
