Love Akiyama. he should dispose of Belfort rather quickly. I'll gladly take the +250. that's a helluva gift IMO.

Remember Vitor Belfort back in 1999-2000...that guy was insane..hand speed and power that in my opinion has never been seen before or since in the sport..

Yep, and that's exactly what they want you to remember when placing a bet on him. unfortunately, that soesn't have crap to do with the fight this weekend. GL

I definitely think that Belfort HAD the quickest hands in the business. But I agree, that was in his past... during his prime. I wish he didn't get KOd so fast by Anderson. I wanted to see where Belforts fight game is now.

I don't see Akiyama KOing Belfort, but I can see this fight going to a decision and Akiyama having a shot at winning. At +$250, it's worth placing a small wager on Sexiyama.

What do you guys think about: Ebersole, MacDonald, and Rivera?

I'm leaning Belfort, but I probably won't play it. I for sure won't have a play on Akiyama.

I really like the young kid Macdonald. It is definitely going to be a big test for him, and they should bang it out with plenty of excitement. Still thinking bout the Ebersole, and Rivera fights.

I agree. Akiyama should be 0-3 in he UFC. He really isn't very good. Pretty overrated like most have been coming over from Japan. Plus he he small. Belfort will dwarf him.

Check out Vitor vs Rich Franklin. He can still fight. Anderson just caught him.

Careful on Rivera. He's the bigger name but he's a brawler/striker type that leaves himself open too often. Philippou is an excellent boxer and much more technical. I think Rivera goes down in the 3rd or loses a unanimous decision.

on a side note this fight should NOT be pay per view...i am really getting tired of shelling out the 59 each time...i know i could go to the bar but with a baby it makes it difficult...UFC really needs to be aware that they are going to price out some of thier long time supporters.

You never know which Vitor is going to show up. When he shows up at his best he looks like he can beat anyone

Anyone that put Akiyama in a parlay is just foolish. Anyone who bet him straight is just delusional.

He was basically 0-3 in the UFC vs. 3 quality guys, but none as good as Vitor. Akiyama had no shot last night other than some hail mary haymaker that connected. Vitor is the much better striker, the more powerful striker, the bigger guy, the stronger guy. Oh yea, and he is more technical.

Anyone who bet Akiyama was just throwing money at a big number. No one I asked could give me a legit way he could have won that fight other than a miracle 1 punch KO.

I give Tito credit for his performance on short notice. He came in and gave a real strong effort..I like Rashad but Bones is going to run right through Rampage and then eat Rashad for breakfast.
