St. Louis Cardinals OVER 8 Florida Marlins

Been crunching baseball numbers for years and years, never have I've seen a team own an opposing pitcher as bad as the Cards own Nolasco.

In just about 100 career at bats, more than a good sample size, the Card line up is
just about .500

45 for 91 (.495) and it's a hard .495

You know who on the Cards hits Nolasco?
Everybody, that's who.

If I listed them all I'd get carpel tunel, so here, look at this link, it's an anomaly.

http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/batvspitch/_/id/6491/ricky-nolasco

If that's not enough reason to back to over in this game, the Marlins smack Carpenter around also.

Check this link out.

http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/batvspitch/_/id/3610/chris-carpenter

I've never been in love with a total so much in my life.

You've got two teams that can do some serious raking, like Pujols, Holliday, Berkman, the young guns on the Fish, and two pitchers that have proven they can't get them out.

Juice is high on the over 8 -116, Lay it, hell, lay -130 if you have to, this game (on paper) has 19+ hits written all over it.

Bill, just a quick question, saw that carp is 3-2 with a 2.67 ERA in 70 innings pitched with no homeruns allowed

did carp face them recently and get pounded? i dont see how the marlins pound carpenter...but again i do like the over because he is not as good this year but i dont see where the marlins have hit him well... but maybe i cant find it

Boni and Gaby hit him good, Cameron may be a pig, but he's taken Carp deep twice, 7-4 Cards win this

help me understand. If they hit him so well why not just take Cards instead of the over? You have a final of 7-4 and you say they all hit him well why wouldnt they just be the play with same amount of juice? Just asking and trying to understand this baseball stuff.

i like the Cards better as someone or something has hit the total as its doing all kind of movements early. so i will pass on over and take Cards but good luck to Bill

With a projected 7-4 final, you could play the RL and even get + money.

I agree with Bill though on taking the Over in this one, as I do not really trust Carpenter either. The only thing that scares me with the Over is Ramirez and Infante being out for Fla.
I heard Ramirez might be back today though, so that should help.

People aren't digging, they are looking at Nolasco and Carp, and figuring two better than average picthers.

Nice stuff, good work.
I'll tail the over 8 +110 and play the TT over 4 -110
If we lose so be it, a sweet angle.
