I echo micheal777's sentiment, the markets are not going to get appreciably better any time soon. The Euro state is on the verge of collapse right now and the situation in the US is going to get progressively worse.

QE3 will prop up the disastrous markets for awhile but the total systematic collapse is a certainty, just give it a few years.

Lost about 5% in the last 2 days.

Not bad, because I've been Up over the past 2 years.

I Only have One stock left and have had it for 14 years now.

Made a Great Hit Shorting Netflix from Hpark1, too bad I didn't short it again... but I'm fine with that.

Agree, as in the Very Near Future... There's Money to be made, as I Will be Buying

Luckily I had stop-loss orders that sold my entire portfolio from 3 to 6 days ago. I would have lost over 20,000 if not for that as all my stocks were oil stocks that got slaughtered.

Nice to hear you made some money from NFLX. Keep your eye on it, the company is a joke, it has nowhere to go but zero. Each quarterly earnings report will act as a catalyst down. If they don't boldly issue a secondary very soon the wait for zero will be relatively short.

Short term NFLX may creep back up after the markets stabilize but I'll definitely be adding before 3rd q "earnings".

Yeah Thanks again.... owe you more than a Few Drinks or Meals

To short it again, I will have to wait as you know I can't short while it is tanking... So I will keep my eye on it for sure.

Ummm that is why I said is going to come after you

Not trying to hijack this thread but based on what? Republicans make him bendover every single time.

What makes you think he is going to raise taxes? I don't think he ever said he was going to raise capital gains taxes or taxes on people earning less than 250,000 a year. You must be confused...

There are so many things this guy can do, but raising income taxes, on money people work for is flat out stupid. Lower income taxes, create a flat tax, close loopholes so these rich people have to pay, and heck create a small national sales tax, that will again target people who spend money (aka those terrible "rich" people). 250,000 a year is not rich. Heck, 250,000 on the coasts is middle class. Why should American people have to pay more money and give more hard earned money to a government who blows this money on waste, corruption, greed, and red tape? Anything the government touches turns to crap. Stop all the stupid spending on all these entitlements. Entitlement societies don't work, ask Greece and plenty of other countries.

Still don't see what Obama has to do with this. He hasn't raised taxes and the stimulus bill was like 40% tax cuts. What do you mean why should hard working Americans have to give more $ to Gov? They haven't since he was president. I'm just confused, do you have Obama confused with someone else? Not trying to be a wiseass but he hasn't raised taxes so I have no clue what you are talking about. Dude has been in office almost 3 years and hasn't raised anything.

I don't want to get into Harringtons finances either, but he lives in Buffalo so I doubt he makes 250k a year therefore Obama hasn't even said anything about wanting to raise taxes on him.
