RJ doesn't like copying their articles so you can go to the link. This runner or betting partner as Billy Walters calls him took out over $480,000 in an account at the M then claimed he was carjacked. He was charged with 33 felony counts. If gaming wants to charge him as a runner I have no problem with that. I also have no problem with police charging him with filing a false police report. What I do have a problem with is the police trying find Billy Walters money. I don't know exactly how the M works with sports accounts. What I do know is this. If I'm dumb enough to let a person control $480,000 of my money and get ripped off I got what I deserved. Even if the M knows whose money it is whoever has the ability to withdraw it then that's on the person who posted the money. It's not the M, Gaming or the police responsibilty. I would sure like the police help me recover all the money I have ever had stolen from me in a gambling partnership.

Wasn't the account in Billy's corporate name? Interesting tactic. The runner is a small stockholder with some kind of authority to make withdrawals? Would like to see how many people were allowed to deposits and withdrawals on the account - in addition to the bets. Probably, the next thing we will hear about is the balance is off and Billy sues the runner???

Billy has alot of influence in Vegas & would be surprised if he had high officials on his payroll.

Similar thing happened to a friend of mine at M. Gaming control was involved. My feeling is that will probably put a stop to non-account owners placing bets
