this is a shame...hopefully they can restructure the debt and work something out. first hotel I ever stayed at in vegas and always liked it..

Thier comps suck now, that's for sure. Years ago, same play I give them now I got full RFB and Limo use, now I barely get some food comped.

Staying there next week. Something about the place I just like, been staying there for 8+ years

Won't shock me if Jay Kornegay and the football contest are gone within a year or two. When casinos are struggling like that they eliminate the independent sportsbook and go to a satellite operation like Lucky's.

I just don't understand how you guys like staying there. The carpets are terrible. The rooms are old and dated. The pool area - nothing compared to the strip hotels.

The only part of the Casino worth anything is the book - but you don't have to stay there to play at their book.

As for comps .... I'm getting a ton over at Aria and at the other MGM properties and I hardly play by any stretch of the imagination.

Now with Cosmo as part of the Marriott family you've got that option as well if you're a hotel points freak.
