Wilson actually pitched pretty well last time out (vs Clev): 6.2, 2 ER, 8 K.
Last time against Oakland wasn't horrible, 7 IP, 4ER, 8 K. That game was in hitter friendly Arlington.
From what I've noticed he tends to give up his runs late in his outings (late 6th or the 7th inning).
Now with Adams and Uehara added to the bullpen, they may not lean on Wilson quite as hard to pitch into the 7th or 8th innings.
18 of the A's last 28 games have been on the road (few in Arlington, few at Yankee Stadium). Playing in spacious Oakland is a whole different animal.
I'm not saying I like the Under, but also not sure all signs are pointing to the Over either.
The Rangers bullpen is now one of the best in the game, and with an off day yesterday they are all fully rested and available. Wilson really only needs to get through 6 innings tonight.
9-0-2 over last 11 at home. Even with weak bats like Minnesota and Tampa Bay sent the games over the total. Oak offense has been pretty good.

Should be a good game. I just think 7 is a bit too low for the way both offenses hit
No doubt the A's have been playing some Overs lately, but in a park that's historically a low scoring park, I'd say there's a better chance that ends than it continues.
As far as the runs Wilson's given up vs the A's, a lot of the damage came in the later innings. They have since added 2 of the best 8th inning set up men in baseball, so they no longer need to push Wilson so long (especially late into the year). I'm just saying I don't think his last two outings against the A's holds heavy weight. Both games were also in Arlinton Park. Basically the antistasis of the Oakland Coliseum.

Manager Ron Washington didn't offer any comment about Wilson's remarks, but Washington did say that he loves Oakland. He was an A's coach for 11 seasons before becoming the Rangers' manager.
The overhaul of O.co (no m) Coliseum after Thursday night's preseason football game continues. As a result, batting practice has been canceled. The Rangers haven't taken BP since Monday and haven't seen live pitching since Wednesday's game against Seattle. Washington said it could be an issue early. The Rangers will take BP on Saturday morning before their afternoon game.
