I think it all started with Pawnstars, and everybody has copied it.

Like Enough already with this stuff.

You've got the Gangsta pawnshop in Detroit, I saw some other one owned by a couple of blonde women with tight shirts and fake tits.

Several about buying storage lockers, there's one with a big white guy with head tattoes, he always seems to buy units for $500 and find $8500 worth of stuff inside. I'll bet real buyers hate these shows.

They made a female version of the those fag picker guys with the van....Picker sisters.

There's always a new one coming out.

It's entertaining. Extremely scripted and they never show the bad deals though.

I hate all the reality TV. What happened to The Cosby Show, Amen, and Mr. Belvedere??? I miss those sitcoms...

I guess it has to be scripted or it would be too boring.

I can't see those original picker guys from Iowa making money taking 1,000 mile + road buying trips, without the TV revenue.

It has to be a lot cheaper to pay these guys instead of high paid actors like Cosby, Alan Alda, Ted Danson, Charlie Sheen, etc.

I know all the guys from Pawn Stars are making 6 figures. They get the TV money, the pawn shop money, and then the extra pawn shop money from everyone wanting to be on TV and giving them good deals to make it on air. I've heard the lines are out the door at that place.

There are plenty of fags on TV, no sense in calling the heterosexuals fags.

The chicks from the new "Picker Sisters" show are way hot. I'm watching that just for the hotness factor.

I watched it once, but what a complete rip off of the Mutt & Jeff tag team from Iowa. I can't watch more of these.

I used to think myself that network television died a long time ago with all of these reality shows like Survivor, American Idol and Who Wants To Marry A Millionaire came onto the scene because my favorite shows on the local stations would get cancelled because of those reality ratings grabbers. But then I realized just how far TV has branched out over the years. We have good quality non reality shows for all ages on FX, ABC Family, AMC, USA, TNT and of course the HBO's and Showtime channels. Even Starz has kicked out a couple of decent shows and Cinemax has entered in the scene too. So there is some good quality programs on all of the time on any giving station and if that isn't enough there are syndicated reruns on the tube along with the ability to DVR programs and renting or buying old TV Shows that you loved or never got a chance to watch when the first aired. 15 years ago we never had these options. So if some of these channels focus on pumping out the same old scripted reality shows to capitalize on viewers with low attention spans then more power to them.
