When the Yankees leave K.C., their next three series' will be with three teams (Minnesota, Baltimore and Oakland) all at least 10 games under .500. What will the excuse be if the Yankees don't win all three of those series, to those three pathetic teams. Well, you have lots of time to prepare your remarks. You should win at least 3 games that Sabathia pitches, but what about Colon, Hughes and Nova. Whats your excuse going to be. Well lets see, dead arms, nerve damage? How about just plain bad pitchers. Its sink or swim Yankee fans for these 3 series. Are you nervous. I'd be. I'd tell Colon no more "Whoppers" for dinner. I'd tell Hughes to keep his "shrink" appointments, and I'd tell Nova, to stop "bitching" about run support. Its time to take responsibility and if you are going to take the big bucks, take the heat when you get your brains beat in. God forbid they would be facing Texas, interleague play with the Phillies, and a nice series with The Red Sox! Good luck Yankees!

Baseball is a marathon, you win a series you are happy, especially on the road.NY lost on bogus call, hope it doesn't matter when we win by 3 games for the division title. I don't bash Boston pitching until FH forces me to defend the better squad= NYY,but I'm sick of this childesh 3 or 4 posts now a day to stir up trouble

No excuses needed if they lose, the fact is their pitching sucks. They have tons of hitting in that lineup, they are extremely patient, wearing out the starters and getting into the opponents bullpens......
Makes for a lot of overs given the lack of pitching and strong offense, I cashed 4 outta 6 in the KC series betting NYY team totals and game overs.....just needed Posada to get a hit instead of standing there like a fat farmer. If Cano would have gotten those same looks at bat he would have crushed one clean out.
So, no excuses......they need a better pitching staff to shutdown opponents and build a more complete team. That's the Yanks biggest weakness.

FH-- You are really not helping your cause. I have been following you on your MLB picks and your doing great. Then you start posting in the forum and many are posting how they love your picks and then you get a couple of people bashing and you complain about that then you turn around and post this. I am really confused of your intentions here other then to cause people to get pissed at you. It makes no sense. Boston is next at 74-48
and Boston, Philly and NYY are far and away the top 3 spending teams in MLB....props to Texas, Atlanta, and Milwaukee this year for doing almost the same for half the price. Arizona is leading their division and doing it at 1/4th the cost of the Yanks). Sure would be nice to have a salary cap in MLB so the playing field would be more evenererer.

I'm a die hard baseball fan (Chicago WHITE SOX) from Chicago. I just don't see why ppl even try to bash on the Yankees? I mean, what have they done in my lifetime.....i'm 30 yrs old....we all know the things they've accomplished! Red Sox are good and all, but damn....how many rings have the Red Sox won in the past 30 years? We all know the answer to this. All i can say is one thing, i can say this for a fact....people from Chicago, especially White Sox fans....have nothing but RESPECT for the Yankees.
