At the time of this writing, the following Match Odds/Moneyline were available: Texas Rangers (2.36, +136) and Los Angeles Angels (1.72, -139)

Angels are 37-14 record in Weaver’s last 51 home starts, while the Rangers are 1-5 in their last six games as a road underdog.

Texas will be aiming for a series sweep Thursday after picking up a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over the Los Angeles Angels last night. The Rangers have won 11 of their last 13 games and are now seven games ahead of the Angels in the American League West standings. “It’s still early,” Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz commented. “We’re not going to get comfortable.” The club is 7-5 in the season series and 28-22 in the last 50 meetings since the start of the 2009 season. Texas is 54-34 against right-handed starters this year.

Rangers starting pitcher Colby Lewis is 11-8 with a 4.01 ERA in 24 starts this season and the team has won his last two outings against the Indians and Athletics. The right-hander has given up just four runs and eight hits over 13 2/3 innings of work over that span. Lewis has produced solid numbers in 12 road starts, coming in with a 7-4 mark and 2.95 ERA, issuing just 18 walks and registering 78 strikeouts in 79 1/3 frames. In 10 career outings (eight starts) versus the Angels, he has tallied an even 3-3 record and 4.94 ERA, including a 15-4 home loss on April 19 (5 IP, 4 ER).
