New York at Seattle
10pm Saturday

Seattle -2 (1st quarter)
I think Seattle jumps ahead early. Seattle just lost at home to Atlanta by 29 points. They fell behind and gave up. Then, they went to Phoenix and jumped ahead 19-7 and ended up losing by 2. Now they return home to face the New York Liberty, who beat them by 2 points in a recent game at NY.

Seattle has some nice veterans (Cash, Little, Bird, Wright, Smith, Willingham) and may have the services of Lauren Jackson, who dressed for the Phoenix game but did not play. Let's look at recent home games before the Atlanta Dream "nightmare".

led Tulsa 26-18
led Conn 24-14
led SA 31-19

New York is led by point guard Cappie Pondexter, who is a nice scorer and passer. However, NY has lost their last three road games at Indiana and lost twice at Washington.

This is a nice chance for Brain Agler's squad to jump ahead quickly in front of their fans and show that they are the defending WNBA champions. If Cappie plays well this play will lose but I like our chances for the home team to storm ahead early.

GL! Thankfully, there is no overtime to worry about tonight!
