Hope all is well and you are locked and loaded for this upcoming NFL season... I was wondering your thoughts on the Green Bay Packers winning the NFC @+350 and winning the Super Bowl @7-1...I feel there is great value in both wagers right now especially since they are legitimate to make the playoffs which would enable one the opportunity to hedge on all accounts, thus guaranteeing some profit and minimizing any potential loss if any at all.

What are your thoughts on this wager as I'm contemplating pounding both, with more emphasis on Packers winning the NFC!!!I see great value and a nice betting scenario once the playoffs would begin.

Wishing you the best this year and may all your bets be winning ones...

Regards
Bernie

my home town Lions will not do it...MINN will not come close...chi will be lucky to win 9....GB should be 12-4...so they will get into the playoffs!!!

I think SD has shoot at winning the superbowl this year...as long as the qb still in.

every week change the out come of the next week

ATL
PHI...I feel will be in...... the players and with that team they have could be in the superbowl vs SD
NO
GB

How can you pick one of those to win the NFC and than go up against the best AFC team

7-1 is the true odds......bet low if you want to try it....

NFC....GB or phi is the play

best to you

Thanks for responding and your input...I guess BernieVegas talking it up has caused the number on the Packers to drop and drop on both accounts LOL.

I believe you definitely have the NFC figured to the "T"

Green Bay
Philly
NO
Atlanta (wildcard after tough battle with NO)
4 others vying for last wildcard spot in NFC (NY Giants, Dallas, Detroit and TB)
I believe the NFC WEST representative may finish .500 at best entering playoffs.

as far as the AFC
NE
Pitt
SD
Baltimore (wildcard after tough battle with PITT)
NY Jets (wildcard after tough battle with NE)
I believe the AFC SOUTH is a dogfight between Indy and Houston

as far as San Diego I've always liked their team but they just don't win. Last year #1 ranked offense and #1 ranked defense and finish 9-7 and don't even make the playoffs. I know QB Rivers is a winner but the rest hmmm....Wishing you the best on that play as I would love to see them turn it around. They should have no problems in the AFC WEST this year.

Yours in Winners

Hey Ace, living in the Philly area I can tell you right now we the fans are very worried about the play of this team! The linebackers are too small and being exposed, the O line is still trying to gel and need the TE's to stay and block. Reid still can not make game time changes, manage the clock or make good red flag challenges. Vick as everyone already knew is a China Doll and probably won't play in more than 10 games, Kafka is a horrible back-up QB, Vince Young is struggling to learn the playbook and can only run X amount of the offensive plays. Due to the lack of athletic ability of the linebackers the corners are forced to play zone to help them out and this is not the system or style of play that free agent and ex-Raider Nnamdi Asomugha is use too. (He looked horrendous last week)
Did I mention the poor play of the linebackers? lol
Now Vick is publicly complaining he is being unfairly hit and not getting any flags thrown. Most of the fan base disagree's with this because he is not a pocket passer and has the potential to take off and run. Oh man this team is one more loss away from the train derailing. On a positive note Reid is pretty good at bouncing back after a bad loss and fixing the things that went wrong last week. I just can't put my finger on this team yet, if Vick goes down we're screwed. Not sure the spread 9 defense is right for this team because the opponent can run up the middle and right thru or over the linebackers. That is why Reid moved McCoy to the weak side from middle. Atlanta's RB Turner carried him for about 5 yards two weeks ago when we played them and Reid saw enough!
You hate to say week #4 is a must win for any team but if the Birds drop to 1-3 that's a tough hole to dig out of.

Welllllll..............looks like Andy Reid finally realized that Casey Matthews is not the LB he thought! First they moved him to the outside and finally after getting toasted last week vs. the Giants Reid saw enough and finally benched the undersize LB. Who is replacing him?.................6th round pick Brian Rolle at 5' 10" and 225 lbs. Frank Gore is going to rush for over 150 yards I predict!! Here is the article from Eagles website;
Linebacker Brian Rolle told reporters on Wednesday that he will be inserted into the starting lineup this Sunday as the new weakside linebacker replacing Casey Matthews.

"It's just a matter of being out there with the ones now and taking care of business," Rolle said. "I guess the coaches felt the need for a new body in there. I just look forward to the challenge and I'm going to have fun and make plays. I'm ready for it. I felt like I was ready out of college."

A sixth-round pick out of Ohio State, Rolle worked his way up the depth chart getting reps in the first-team nickel package and now in the base 4-3. Matthews started the first two games at middle linebacker and was moved to the weak side last Sunday against the Giants. Matthews had five tackles against the Giants, but bit on a play-action fake that allowed running back Brandon Jacobs to score a 40-yard touchdown pass.

At 5-10, 227 pounds, Rolle knows that his size will always be brought up as a potential issue. However, he's been targeted in the pass game just three times this season and has only allowed one catch for 2 yards, which came on a fourth-down situation last week. Rolle made the stop to get the Giants offense off the field.

"I think I'm better against the run than the pass. It's all about technique in this league. Just knowing the game of football and knowing where you need to be helps you out," said Rolle, who believes his athleticism and physical nature helped earn the starting nod. "I'm willing to get out there, step up there and make plays that need to be made."

The Eagles will be tested this Sunday by a physical back in Frank Gore and an athletic, pass-catching tight end in Vernon Davis.

"We have to get our heads back in it. We tell each other every day that nobody's going to give us anything," Rolle said. "We're something more than what we are, but obviously the last couple of weeks we haven't played up to that potential."
