At one time I thought any book that was a sponsor your funds were "safe" because therx backed them. Is that still the case and if so, does it cover winnings or just deposit funds?

Also, do books that become sponsors do they go through any quality checks or if someone simply writes a check, they can be sponsored?

Due to some questions about synbet (not even having a phone #) and other new books it would be nice to know that a sponsor can't be me opening a book and running it out of my house.

TIA

It's been quite some time since any forum has guaranteed funds with ANY book.
But not necessarily because of any book having financial woes, but because of other problems and concerns.
However, it's very obvious that if you have any issues with a book who is a sponsor, that the problem is much more likely to be worked out vs a book that is not.
In all reality there are books/sponsors elsewhere, who have been around somewhat longer, in which one could be even more worried about overall.

As for what books are accepted as sponsors, ownership makes that decision and trust me many get turned down.

5 dimes was new
Heritage was new
Jazz Sports was new
Bet Jamaica was new
And so on

Some things that are "new" can lead to good things, if given the chance...

To Expand on what Hache Man said.
There's hasn't been a "guarantee" on Funds in Years. BUT, that doesn't mean the RX won't fight for you if there is a Problem with Any Sponsor.

wilheim has worked out disputes with Sponsors and even some Non-Sponsors over the years.
So if you Ever had a Problem ( more so with a Sponsor ) Just Email him at person19481950@yahoo.com and give him the Detail's with your Acct # and he will work on your behalf to solve the problem. (<)<
