What are some good sites that people use for putting money down on a team. Not looking to spend a bunch. Thank you to whoever replies and I hope all is good with bets. Good luck in the 2011 football season!

I too am curious about sites to join public leagues for DECENT payouts (ESPN is not one of those).

Repeat the OP's request, checked out the efsports and looks a little complicated. Any other solid sites? Tried to do a generic search and somewhat surprisingly came up pretty dry. Looking for a buy in league, not free stuff.

Have a few hundred hours to burn, thought this type of entertainment could waste a good deal of time.

HPark, efsports is involved as they have fa/rfa, salary cap, the whole works...if u have a lot of time, its the league for you!

thks for the suggestions Sooner, RTS seems more basic and what I could go for.

Little surprised with the cut they take out though, seems a kind of steep. The $100 12 team league only gets a payout of $900...25% rake? ffs Even gets worse with the cheaper ones.

Most of the leagues seem high end and seriously quite degenerative but the online championship league consisting of a grand prize to go along with league prizes at a 350 entry price seems like a decent deal.

Latest list of entrants listed on their forums has almost 600 total players signed up for this online "championship".


* just saw their slow draft championship, 10 HOURS PER PICK! That sounds like fun, whoever lasts till the end of the draft must win. LOL
