Something that should be considered when wagering the total in Falcons' games.......??

All 42 pass attempts came in the first half, where the Falcons went shotgun heavy and ran the ball just 10 times. That staggering play-call disparity came with the Falcons' entire first-team offense on the field, and is the clearest sign yet they are planning to go with a wide-open passing attack this season. It's a very real possibility Ryan could end up amongst the league leaders in passing attempts. Draft him based on his past numbers at your own peril.

He's been throwing more and more each year.

Just look at his stats for the 3 years he's been in the NFL

White, Jones, and Douglas are a solid WR combo for Ryan. Not to mention Gonzo can still catch despite his age and Rodgers looks like a solid 3rd down back. 4200/30 doesn't seem out of reach at all for Ryan.

This game more likely a simple case of there being no need whatsoever to run their first string RBs in a meaningless exhibition

Agree here. Turner gets pounded in the regular season. Why risk injury here. Preseason is meaningless other than getting live gamespeed reps. Atl has Turner and Snelling, they will be running 50% of the time

I like the way rookie Jacquizz Rodgers has looked. Maybe he can be like Norwood without getting hurt like Norwood. Could be a good backup or 3rd Down guy (although Snelling is ahead).
Just another weapon on offense IMO. I like him. Falcons have piles of weapons on offense. HD (Harry Douglas) will be good under-the-radar type since people will be worried about Julio and Roddy. Not to mention Tony Gonzalez and Michael Turner. I even like Meier who has hurt last year. Of course, Ovie Mughelli does the dirty work and is one of my favorites. Should be fun to watch this offense.
