Texas Rangers -118

Weaver is a championship pitcher who will more than likely pitch a terrific game tonight. The Texas Rangers can change tonight's game with one swing of the bat - a tough team who has contributors top to bottom.

Colby Lewis has the opportunity to make adjustments from the mistakes made by Ranger pitching last night - and if this thing goes the complete opposite and becomes a slugfest the Rangers certainly have the upper hand; however, as bettors we cannot help but to think this is going to be a pitchers duel...where I see the Rangers getting the big extra base hit to go on-top.

Good opportunity for the Rangers to walk away from the series in good shape with a nice response from yesterday's outcome. The Angels are at their peak right now and a win tonight is certainly going to pick them up a notch - I am making a play on the Rangers, since I feel they are not ready to reach that point (at least not yet); coupled with the feeling that Rangers are going to hold their ground.

Should be close and late - Rangers bullpen has the ability to settle down and pitch tough late in the game.

This may be extra innings.

I can't take fat boy Lewis vs. Weaver. Sorry, but too much value here with the all-star stud.

As much as I like the Rangers team this year, I think their Big 3 in the rotation are going to implode down the stretch, mainly due to already surpassing their max yearly innings and it's still August.

You've seen it in the last two weeks with their starting pitcher's performances. Then you have a Wilson performance where he dominates the BoSox earlier this week, and flops yesterday with a HR derby.

I agree Varkey there seems to be good value on Los Angeles tonight.

SBD - I think you are correct and I will be looking to go against the Rangers some time in the near future ... I almost pulled the trigger against Wilson (and the Rangers) in this series.

In my opinion, never a sucker bet when you have a +110 with your ace on the mound. Oh by the way, he's only 15-6 with a filthy 2.06 ERA. You can say it's a "sucker" bet all you want, but I'll gladly take my chances with this VALUE wager.

Definitely not a suckers bet and it couldn't be anymore of a value bet - The Angels along with Weaver have a lot of good baseball left. Just to reiterate what SBD said earlier in this thread, Rangers starting pitching is starting to dwindle...possibly for good.
