Marlins/Mets Over 8 ($525 to win $500)

Several reasons for my selection. In the Marlins last 11 games, the over is 8-2-1 and for the Mets in the last 10 games, the over is 8-2. Sanchez has allowed at least 3 earned runs in his last 3 starts resulting in a 6.75 ERA, all of which have gone over the posted total. As for Dickey, his last 3 starts have also gone over the posted total. Dickey's starts against Florida are 4-1 on the over including 3 straight. It's hard to ignore these stats so my selection is the over. FYI if the umpires were known and I had some stats on that which support my over, then I would increase my bet.

Not that I am posting this as a play but Dickey is 1-8 in home starts this season.

Marlins Team Total Over 3.5 ($260 to win $200)

I'm leaving the over as a $500 play and not adding anything additional. I haven't received umpire information yet but instead I'm investing in the Marlins team total. In the last 5 years Dickey is 1-2 with a 7.36 ERA against the Marlins. I'll take that instead of investing more money on the overall total. Let's kick some tail.

For the Marlins/Mets day game, the home plate umpire, as expected, is a rookie ump. This is his first time in the big leagues. This is unpredictable but I am comfortable with my decision on the over. Let's get em!
