I am hearing no one has faith in Jackson to run the offense. Yea they finished at 7-9 to win the division last year, but they also had one of the worst qbs in their division last year and a 1st year head coach.

division qbs

7-9 SEA Matt Hasselbeck GS 14 YRD 3,001 RATE: 73.2 TD 12 INT 17 FUM 5
7-9 STL Sam Bradford GS 16 YRD 3,512 RATE: 76.5 TD 18 INT 15 FUM 2
6-10 SF Alex Smith GS 10 YRD 2,370 RATE: 82.1 TD 14INT 10 FUM 2
5-11 AZ Derek Anderson GS 9 YRD 2,065 RATE: 65.9 TD 7 INT 10 FUM 3

Hasselbeck didnt exactly have one of his better seasons last year and I feel the team has improved. They now have a young 25 year old pro bowl WR in Sidney Rice, who is familiar with QB Tarvaris Jackson. 25 year old pro bowl TE Zach Miller, who is a young QBs favorite target. I say young because Jackson only has 20 QB starts. The addition of also Tom Cable, who greatly improved the Raiders O-Line and running game will help Seattle with the same. Bringing over Robert Gallery with him. Drafting Carpenter & Moffitt will also help beef up that O-Line. They have capable RB's in Lynch, Washington and Forsett. All positives IMO and do not expect Seattle to be any less than .500 and nowhere near last place in their division.

They are my darkhorse pick for this year to make the playoffs

Living in MN, I can tell you TJack is a horrible qb who can't read a defense and is inaccurate. If Seattle is looking at Tjack as their starting qb, they will finish last in the NFC West.

If the past weeks game was any indication you're right on the money. The guy looked horrible. Reminded me of Aaron "Foster" Brooks in his last games.....drop back, take off running then throw the ball as high and as far as u can and hope 1 of your guys is in that area. I dont see how they win any conferance games with him...

Tarvaris Jackson ABSOLUTELY can lead this team.... he has talent. Since 2008 Jackson has 121 completeions in 198 attempts. 61% completion ratio. A 13-5 TD to INT ratio..

He already knows the offense. He and Sidney Rice really connect. This is a great position for him to be in.

Jackson is young. He isn't passed his prime. He isn't learning a new system, he just growing. He has the talent, size and ability.

Niners and Rams are the only ones with a chance IMO.

cool....an Aaron Brooks reset......I can recall those few months when many of us had visions he might be able to get the Saints into true contention.

Rams will win this div....Seahawks need better qb play to win, they will not get it out of TJ

I think the point was the hawks won the division last year with a horrible qb

Alex Smith went 8-for-10 today. He's picking up the offense nicely.

I have them under 6 1/2 wins. I can win that bet and they still might have a shot at winning the Division.

god I hope all of you picking the hawks for the playoffs are very wrong, I'm a diehard hawks fan and what this team needs more than anything is to be the worst team in the league draft Luck, a legit long term option at qb, another half assed season finishing middle of the pack gets them nowhere. If you're not among the best better to be the worst.

Rams are favored to win the division but are already plagued by injuries... I am impressed with the roster of the Niners Jake. On paper they look great
