Couldn't pass a background check at Wal Mart..

A charge that was somewhat gambling related.

If his charges happened after his playing days, don't think they would want him up there.......

he'll get in.

pete rose should be in the baseball hall of fame.

ty cobb is in the hall of fame and if you went by his morals and beliefs the mlb hall would never elect him according to your logic.

i dont think he'll have the numbers to qualify. if he does though he should be in.

yea, I think if he continues to do right, and puts up HUGE stats, he could get in. He'll need to do a lot on the field though - I would think he'd need to be close to 250 TDs and over 25,000yds... Just guessing what it'd take to make people forget

He won't get in because of the arrest, but because he isn't good enough.

Yes, I do believe if his numbers were there he would be elected - it'd basically be the NFL patting itself on the back for handling the situation well.

This is why he will never get in. No matter what kind of stats he has (which I don't think will be to likes of Montana, Elway, Marion, Brady) the dog killing deal will always hold him back.

most people are on vicks side now.

the only people who still hate vick are the peta loving tree huggers.

only americans are dumb enough to elevate humans over animals.

i think peta is a borderline terrorist group and i dislike vick so that statement is blown to hell

IMO the big contract will lead to complacency and he wont catch the league off guard like last year ...defenses will be much more wary of him............ so im guessing his numbers will be down

Eagles panicked, this would have been his walk year, they traded Cobb after giving him an extension, it was either that a-rod stupid contract, or face 2012 without a QB.

Steak is right, Vick got his guaranteed money, he won't be hungry this year, and there are many NFL players on opposing defenses that don't like him and will tee off on the dog killer.

The only problem I have is the gambling thing...

When so much needs to be protected when it comes to gambling and the
NFL, don't care if charges were dropped for being a serial killer...

Why this illegal gambling is fine per the NFL is odd..

Thankfully talked SheBar out of taking Vick with her #4 pick in 12team FFB league ($100 stake) this past Sunday

Told her that in order for a FFB first rounder to be a success, the player must to some level exceed previous season's numbers

Pretty much not possible for Vick.

We took Jamaal Charles instead (with McCoy being the next option if JC had been snagged ahead of us)
