ytd: Strong Plays 20-9 +48.80 units Juice Plays 7-4 +7.25 units

Strong Plays

Philadelphia -175 -- Cliff Lee is dominant up against a pitcher who can blow up at anytime (D-train). Phillys are probably the best team in baseball. Great pitcher matchup to be on the Phils. (to win 5 units)

Washington +147-- Atlanta struggles against lefty's, going to follow that trend, Derek Lowe has been terrible since his great start of the season (risking 5 units)

Juice Plays

Milwaukee -148 -- Randy Wolf has been solid, doubt they lose two games in a row at home, they just dissapointed me by mental errors last night, and are getting demoted to a smaller play. (to win 2 units)

Tampa Bay +110-- Love James Sheilds, TB bullpen sucks and sheilds is a complete game master, Alexi Ogando has hit the wall since being so good early, TB should score plenty (risking 2 units)

GL All!

early afternoon games: going to call these action plays i guess, lol

Action Plays

KC +163-- Nathan Adcock is making his 2nd career start and did ok in his first against the Cards, KC has been hitting well, and Porcello sucks (not worth -180, ill tell you that right now) I think he has almost an 8 ERA in August, taking a stab w/ KC...(risking 1 unit)

Minnesota +198 -- Jake Peavy a 200+ fav?? no way, Diamond also a young guy who has about the same ERA as peavy, taking a smaller stab here, (to win 1 unit)

thanks powerz...I dont know, i guess i dont really believe in trap games, or line movement, Brewers shot themselves in the foot by the back to back error that turned into 2 runs, Nyjer RBI double was inches from a homer to tie it up, just little things that werent going there way, and those games happen, Brewers should roll tonight, they just mad me mad last night so im going smaller on them :) .... I consider line movement, the samething as the board at the roullette table that shows you what has hit recently (red/black), that thing is only up so people try to bet on trends when it matters NONE, its up for a reason and it isnt for your conveinience. lol

I will try the Royals also today. After Fister pitched so well for the first part of the game last night, maybe KC can get baserunners on today and slap a few across early to set the tone. Detriot bats are still dangerous so the young KC pitcher must stay focused on one out at a time and get some solid defense backing him along the way.

I agree, Detroit has one of the scarier line ups in MLB, but when you can go up against a pitcher like Porcello, with +163, I feel good about it going into the game.

kinda scary...Greg Holland is good, Soria there closer is iffy....I think they should have left adcock in, he had 55 pitches thru 6...he only gave up a double this inning with an out, we will see....
