September Stakes Race Chase
For all the horseplayers out there experienced or novice, here's your chance to put your handicapping skills to work and build up a virtual bankroll like no other. No post ups or deposits required. Just be a valid member of the RX, place your bets for the next month and see how you measure up against your fellow posters.
You will enter your selections in the Google Form provided below and the output will be generated in a spreadsheet embedded below the form. Results will be tabulated and standings posted daily ASAP.
The contest will run for the Month of September. This is basically a fun contest so sorry, no prizes.
There will be 50 Stakes Races to choose from throughout the month listed by Date & Track.
Each poster will start out with a virtual bankroll of $10,000. That entire $10,000 must be wagered by the end of the month to qualify.
There is a maximum wager of $200 per bet. In other words, a $200 Exacta Box: (2,3) would be a total of $400 but since $200 was the basic wager, it would be acceptable.
You must have the funds in your account at the beginning of the day to cover all wagers made that day. Any winnings accumulated during earlier races can not be used for betting purposes on later races. Your starting balance each day is the max amount you can wager.
You may bet on as MANY or as FEW races as you want. If more than one race is offered per day, you can bet on all of them or skip them altogether. A maximum of 3 selections per race will be allowed. Only stipulation is that you wager at least $10,000 during the month of September.
Win, Place, Show, Win & Place, Win & Place & Show, Place & Show, Exacta, Exacta Box, Quinella, Trifecta, Trifecta Box, Superfecta and Superfecta Box betting options will be available if offered on track.
All scratches will be refunded.
Deadline for each race is the posted "OFF" time listed on the equibase.com results page. The google timestamp will serve as the official time of all selections made. Late selections will not count and wagers will be refunded.
If you go bust you are eliminated from the competition.
