At the time of this writing, the following Match Odds/Moneyline were available: Atlanta Braves (2.14, +114) and Philadelphia Phillies (1.83, -120)

Phillies are 16-2 in Worley’s starts, while the Braves are 1-5 in Hudson’s last six tries as a road underdog.

Atlanta has officially dropped out of the race to win the NL East division after suffering a 9-0 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies Monday. The Braves are now solely focused on maintaining their 8 1/2-game lead in the Wild Card. “They dominated every aspect of the game,” commented Braves starting pitcher Derek Lowe. “Sometimes you have to give other people credit.” After winning six of the first 11 games in the season series, the Braves have dropped the last two against the Phillies by a combined score of 23-1. Atlanta is 18-14 after being shutout the last three years.

Braves starting pitcher Tim Hudson is 14-8 with a 3.05 ERA in 28 starts this season and will be looking to lead his team to victory for the seventh time in eight games. The right-hander tallied a 5-2 home win over the Washington Nationals last time out, giving up a single run and five hits over six innings. Hudson has posted a 5-4 record and 4.04 ERA in 11 road games, as opponents are hitting .265 against him. In 20 lifetime outings versus the Phillies, he is 7-7 with a 3.65 ERA, including a 1-2 mark and 3.98 ERA in five games at Citizens Bank Park.
