LSU jumps Bama to #2

Now they are only one spot off from the truth instead of 2 spots off.

Does anyone honestly believe on a neutral field that OU could hang with LSU?

Im think 20+ easily for LSU.

Cant wait till the LSU/BAMA game. Thats going to be the real NCG.

That should be an all-time great game right there.

By then they will probably both be ranked 1 and 2.

LSU Def is nasty. If they can play at that level all season, I do not see them losing a game. I would want to generate a little more play from the QB spot as well. All in all NO OU could not hang with LSU.

We must have watched different games. I am guessing you were reffering to Auburn and not LSU. The LSU/Oregon game, saturday night (9-3-2011), was a beat down.

alot of teams to choose from Dante, I think we have a bigger pool of teams to contend then we have had in along time. I easily could have put Boise, S Carolina, Arkansas, or even Oregon in top 10

And that LSU running attack that was ramming it down the Duck throats. What do you call that play, a toss dive? Turnovers were caused by good defensive play. Oregon got drilled, especially in the second half. The size, strength, and speed got to the Ducks. Plain and simple. What to bash an overrated SEC team.....take it out on my dawgs. They looked like Oregon did.

LSU is not a legit top 5 team. They are not winning a title with their offensive play. I am no fan of Oregon but they did give that game to LSU with miscues. Their timing clearly is not there. Replay that game when both are at full blast, Oregon wins without trouble. Alabama will handle them by 10+

The freshmen that fielded the punt around the 5 was barely touched, that had nothing to do with good defensive play. Same with the kickoff return. Just inexperience is what really hurt us. 2 key players went out and the inexperience changed the game. Close game till that point. Dawgs here horrible, give you that.

LSU hasn't had much offense for 3-4 years.....but don't belittle what they did to a top 5 team last week....with their BACKUP QUARTERBACK.....HELLO!

LSU is good....if they beat Bama, they are BCS Championship Game good....

They did not do much & in the end it was only 1 game. They won't beat Bama playing like that.

LSU has one of the top 2 Def in the country. The reason Oregons timing was off because their O line was getting blowed back 4 yards on every play. LSU took away the run from Oregon and forced them to try to throw the ball to stay in the game. Oregon is not a throwing team. Thats what great teams do, they shut down their opponents strength. LSU Off is not the best, they need help at QB or better playmaking ability fromm Lee, LSU running game is fine, and with that Nasty Def. They are a ligit top 2 team.

They did shut down the #1 off from last year. That is doing something. Oregon will probably not lose another game this year. So by LSU beating them after Oregon has had all summer to prepare for them is saying something.
