Phoenix at Seattle
under 165

The two teams are tied for second place in the west and they will play each other next week in the best of three playoff series. This game will be important for home court advantage and get to play 2 of the 3 in their building. Both teams have been playing plenty of unders lately.

Phoenix 8 unders, 1 over last 9 games
Seattle 8 unders, 2 overs last 10 games

They have played three unders this year (160, 160, 149). The 149 point game was at Seattle in the first game of the year. The three games before that ended with 179, 156 and 151 points, meaning that 5 of the last 6 meetings have gone under 160 points.

Phoenix just played at home on Thursday night and must travel to Seattle to play Friday. Penny Taylor (16 ppg) did not play on Thursday and surely won't be 100%. Diana Taurasi was injured and missed a few games two weeks ago but played nicely vs. Tulsa.

As for Seattle, their last 8 home games have reached 128, 118, 125, 155, 140, 160, 142 and 128. They did play a 176 point game vs. LA at home this year.

Lauren Jackson was last year's MVP but she missed about half the year with a hip injury. Seattle also gets clutch play from Sue Bird and Swin Cash. Seattle averages 140 ppg while the Mercury are at 175.

I wouldn't be shocked to see an over if the two teams can make some 3's and get to the foul line since both shoot free throws well but I like our chances for an under.
