I had Utah +8 1/2 it was 17-14 USC on the last play of the game Utah tried a FG to tie and it was block and ran back for a TD making it a 9pt win 23-16. Then with a new rule the TD somehow was discounted & I thought I was ok at 17-14. The just watching the FINAL SCORE on ESPN I learned that the PAC12 overturned the new rule
making the score 23-16 again. Something fishy about this one. Make me wonder
if some big shots had USC -8 1/2.

23-14 you mean? Cause 23-16 is just 7 points

I had Utah +9, too. Nice bad beat, especially after it seemed like a turnover on downs 30seconds before that...
Even better ending if you already bet Hawaii +6 (Hawaii score was 32-38 with a PAT pending, so missed PAT would equal a push, but instead PAT is blocked and returned for 2pts by Washington...), but that's football :grandmais

They even mentioned on ESPN this morning that they (USC) found a way to "cover"

From what I have read, LV got fcked. They paid the Utah tickets at the counter and then then had to honor the USC tickets. Decision came in like one hour but not soon enough to prevent the cashing of the first Utah tickets. Offshores grading it a USC cover.

Was it a block? Someone else posted they went for 2 [to cut it to 4???] and it was a 'Pick2' return?

gives the offshore books a free shot
grade all tickets losers and just adjust those that complain that usc s/b a winner, esp. since utah was heavily bet
most vegas books are claiming usc a loser since theey had already paid the winners on utah
