FELIX JONES HOULD HAVE 32 yards receiving, not 22. Will this be corrected? Why does it matter?

I bet over 72.5 rush+receiving yards for Felix tonight.

He had 44 rush yards and 3 catches for 32 receiving yards for 76 total yards. A WINNER!

However, NFL.com, CBS, etc.... all have 44 rush yards and 3 catches for 22 yards.....a LOSER.

I watched the game and kept track and I even went into the play by play of the game to confirm. Felix Jones had receptions of 11, 2,and 19 yards for a total of 32 yards.

I notified 5 Dimes about this. They already graded it as a loser.

Who is in charge of correcting the official NFL stats/boxscores? Is it STATS INC?

If this does not get corrected I am seriously through playing offshore. Between the Utah BS and now this, I've had it.

I believe you are probably right, since you kept track, but, I added up other receivers and they match Romo's passing yards. Any chance the play you think was for 10 was not erased by penalty (not likely since there weren't a lot in the game).

Can check the play by play data to see if or where you got screwed. I remember awhile back I got hosed on a basketball prop where they gave a basket to the wrong guy. Not surprising the book didn't care for my protests and the NBA never changed the stats, well at least not in a timely fashion.

The worst part is it shouldn't even have been close if Romo would look for Felix Jones more out of the backfield. This guy can be just ad good as a Ray Rice and Leaean McCoy if Romo would open his freakin eyes and stop thinking long ball every passing play.

it can take sites overnight to fix errors like this, same thing happened with greg jennings thursday night. rodgers hit him for a 22 yard pass and there was also defensive pass interference for 22 yards, during the game they had green bay accepting the penalty as opposed to giving jennings the catch (time on clock was no issue). They finally corrected it the next morning. looks like they are starting to correct it now for felix

heck yahoo sports gave him 4 catches for 39 yards (latteral on last play)

I dont think that is it LE. I considered it but.....

The numbers dont add up......that play lost 7 yards and he fumbled. That shouldnt have affected his passing yardage, right?

SO in one weekend.....Im gonna get screwed

--on a changed score 3 hours after a game in Utah/USC.
--an incorrect stat on Felix Jones or a failed meaningless lateral at games end.
--and Dez Bryant over 3.5 catches......after he catches 3 balls in first 7 minutes of game and zero after.

Just silly. Absolutely silly.

Horrible week Wolf. sorry to hear this. I do agree with you, that fumble should not affect the receiving yards

It does because the ball was thrown to him. Had he rushed for the yards and lost 10 on a lateral same scenario.

Had it too, was hoping that the lateral wouldn't count but it did. It was a horrible beat

Jones definitely had 32 receiving yards before that final play. How he ended up with 22 receiving yards is the real question here. Even counting that last play anyway you want, he didnt lose 10 yards on that play. I wasn't paying that close attention to the last play when it happened, but did Jones even have complete control of that lateral before he fumbled? If not, he shouldnt be penlalized any yards in my opinion.

The pass was thrown to Austin who threw it back to JOnes who threw it back to no one.

I emailed Stats Inc about it......not sure if they are the official scorer of NFL games but I'll find out.

If he lateraled the ball back to no one, shouldnt that be a fumble? or count as negative passing yards. I still dont understand how that counts as receiving yards....
