Handicapping Baseball

I love using Yahoo for handicapping baseball....

However, they took away one of the stats I like to look at.... you are looking at a pitcher, and you want want to see how left handers hit him and how right handers hit him .. that's no longer there..

where else can I find this information....

Example of right handed reliever Julio Teheran.

1st is Bat ave against then Slggung against then OBP against by left and right handed hitters in each category. Julio won't be seeing any left handed hitters in playoffs that is for sure.

Teheran VSL .353 .529 .421 .
Teheran VSR .150 .300 .217

Obviously he is there to get righties out in late relief - BUT YOU CAN DO SAME WITH STARTERS AND COMPARE THEM AGAINST THE TYPE OF LINEUP THEY ARE FACING FOR A PARTICULAR START. I used to do it manually evevy day for certain games and could predict to some degree of accuracy which hitters were going to do well, if any, against many different starters..All this is also in the print version of the Sporting News in back in stat section. It used to be at least as it has been a while since I have capped BB so hard.

Its still on yahoo. click on the scoreboard then the game. that will bring up the box score and when click on the starting pitchers it brings you to the page where all their stats are.. batter vs pitcher for individual hitters and situational stats for left vs right, home and away , etc....

I use covers to handicap everything. I'm a creature of habit. Do the same thing everyday.
