called up a local big bar/restaurant to see if they were going to have the fights later tonight and ufc on. she said yes (i already planned to go up there to watch the ohio state vs miami game) and she told me, there is a $10 cover charge starting at 7pm for the fights. Floyd fight is not till 1030 and your starting your cover at 7pm????? seems like a great way to kill off a lot of the football crowd. if you come after 10, its $20

the whole point is to go out drinking with friends, just seems so odd to start a cover charge so early for a sports bar

order the fight yourself, get a big ol pizza and a 6er, call it a good night and the best 90 bucks you've ever spent

not all of us were born with rich parents like you who can pay off our debts when we do stupid things.. Spending 60 bucks for a fight your gonna watch alone is lame.

Hooters charges $20/person, they always do.

If I am not mistaken dont bars and resturants have to pay per seat for pay per view events? I think it is much more expensive for a business to order the fight then it is for someone in thier home

These places spend anywhere from 1-5k for these pay per views depending of occupancy size. Gotta recoup it somehow.
