draft wise its shown me to go with the RB strategy always. dont be cute and grab a wideout or a QB here or there, spend your first 3 or 4 picks on backs.

Maybe so, but then you end up thinking you're golden /w Jamaal Charles at #6 like myself... And, uh-oh. I went RB/QB and ended up with a great team in my money league: Charles, Brees, Gore, Wayne, Beanie, Britt, Lloyd... But what's it got me? Injured #2 WR in Lloyd, and #1 RB out for... A long time.

Regardless of drafting strategy, luck is what you need imo.

Tons of luck. My money team having a great year tho as i went Mccoy, Jones-Drew, and stole Mcfadden. Steve Smith of Carolina and Decker have been great values, but Gates yesterday was a let down. Tight end seems to be really deep right now and picking one early was a big mistake i made unless Gates turns it around and others drop off(which is very possible since its only week2)

funny, it has showed me the opposite.
I dont know what you have been watching.

All I have seen is people regret taking people like Foster,Charles,CJ, and Mendenhall in the 1st round.
This is a QB and WR driven league, but yet the people in fantasy football have it ass backwards.

My runningbacks are Bennie Wells, L Blunt, and J Best
My 4th, 5th and 6th round RB are doing as well or better then most peoples 1st and 2nd round RB. While I have the benefit of having Calvin Johnson and Vincent Jackson as my WR's, and everyone who took the overvalued RB's in the 1st 2 rounds are stuck with M Colston and Roy Williams as there WR's.

If you want to believe in the tired old strategy of taking RB's in the 1st 2 rounds is still the way to go in this QB/WR driven league, then by all means keep at it.

It helps people like me who have noticed the Paradigm shift win.

my argument to that is there are more then enough big point QB's, and few top backs.

i would value a ray rice/AP over the best QB's. I grabbed rex grossman off the waiver wire this week and he got me 20 points. newton is putting up 25 plus and was sitting on the waiver wire, same with fitzpatrick.

there's an abundance of QB's who can put up big numbers a week.

there are few RB's, which is why the RB strategy is the best.

again, just my opinion.

I agree that you need RBs early - I just don't think first 3-4 picks is a good strategy. But yea, quality RBs are harder to come by for sure.

i think first 2 for sure and would recommend first 3, just because ill always want a back as a flex over a wideout.
