I think its a great idea for Kobe. If these guys are dumb enough with their money to need a loan, that's their own fault

i think we also have to remember not every player is making kobe or lebron money. a lot of guys make minimum salary, which is between 473,000-1.35 mill.

after taxes, agent fees, etc. your talking about 150,000-1 mill.

granted its good money, but one becomes accustomed to a lifestyle in that range.

when that money is gone what does one do?

That's true. Maybe I'm just jealous cause I dnt get to play a game for a living, nor do I even make 150k a year before taxes, LOL.

agent fee in NBA is 4%, please explain how they are broke?

Maybe if they are making $450K and you say they have $150 left, no wonder they are broke.

No, and I thought that wasn't allowed by the NBA since there was a bit of a problem with Charles Oakley and another player a few years back.
