Ice cold Sox -250

Red hot Rays +155
I know their playing the Yanks, but come on, Yanks have clinched they really don't give a shit right now.

Not sure what to do just throwing it out there.

sox put up 18 runs yesterday, taking both the sox and the yanks for TT overs as small plays...but that is just me.

Hard to argue with that. Been raining all day in Boston. They'll play the game, but wet raw day here.

NYY will not roll over for the Rays, no way, no how, now I'm not saying play NYY -157 with Nova, but NYY should torch Davis for 5 or 6, if so, Rays don't have enough bats to go hit for hit with the Yanks.

Davis and Nova are middle of the rotation type guys, but NYY is 23 for 83 lifetime v. Davis .277, Rays are 10 for 53 lifetime v. Nova .189
Big boy Longoria is a weak 1 for 8 v. Nova .125

So the question is what side is more likely to win.
The home team with the better bats and slightly better pitcher at -157, or the visitors on the hot team with the slightly weaker starter and weaker line up at +147?

Boston has lots of pressure on them.

NYY, while i'm sure would love to see Boston knocked out of the playoffs, cant afford to mail in any games.

should be a fun final week.

go Rangers

agree with billhill here its a toss up, but at -157 im not touching the yanks

yanks win 2 against tampa and sox lose one game to the O's yanks clinch the division

yanks have a 4 game lead for homefield..... yanks need to win a 2-3 games to clinch that while the tigers lose 1 or 2....... it will be interesting

by the way billhill or anyone else interested

yanks next friday at home against texas or detroit at 830 pm

Texas has five 13 game winners on their staff (first time ever in the AL?), and yet none of them are great. They are in trouble against Det or NYY if they dont get HFA in the first round. They just cant seem to win in Detroit and New York is always tough.

a lot of young guys there....without lee last year, the yanks win that series and go to the WS

i dont mind playing texas i know the yankees know their staff very well and not one of those pitchers the rangers have shut down the yankees in their careers... cj wilson here and there but they have seen him enough to hit him well...

Nolan Ryan gets the credit, they are the team to beat, not NYY, not Detroit (but don't sleep on the Tigers)
